Bianet is a Turkish independent online news channel focusing on human rights in the country, including media freedom and freedom of expression.

It is a project of IPS Communication Foundation / Independent Communication Foundation (BIA) which, among other activities, monitors and reports violations of freedom of expression in Turkey – quarterly and annual monitoring reports are available on Bianet website.
